What a strange concept -- fonts that are better for the environment? It may seem odd at first, but we must remember that fonts are more than just letters on a computer screen. Quite often those letters get printed out on a sheet of paper (in fact, in our line of work, it happens all the time!) Printing takes ink (or toner), and the more you use, the more you buy. The more you use, the more plastic bottles get tossed.
So what if there were a font that used only half the amount of ink or toner as other fonts? I don't want to say much more; I'll let the people who offer this wonder-font explain it here.

The Year in Color Copies: a Recap of 2008 at Docucopies.com
It's been an exciting year for us here at Docucopies.com, a year that has seen an exponential increase in our ability to provide high-quality color copies with reliable, friendly service.
Let's take a look back, shall we?
March - We moved from Stillwater, Minn., to a new location in Hudson, Wisc., which allowed us to expand the size of our operation and push out more color copies than ever before.
This allowed us to be more green as well, as we can now recycle our empty toner bottles.
We extended our services to Canada and Mexico.
We also gave away some freebies and lowered our prices.
May - We increased our productivity by buying new equipment. This sped up the production of spiral-bound books by 700 percent.
New machinery also allowed us to increase the size of our booklets to 200 pages.
July - we upgraded our whole system to a faster server to keep up with the growing demand for our color copying services.
September - we updated the site to be friendly with the new web browser Google Chrome.
We launched our postcard printing and mailing service.
October - we extended our customer support hours.
We added pre-designed advertising calendars to our product lineup.
November - we began offering business cards on a large scale.
December - we lowered the minimum order to $50.
With all these monumental changes in the last 12 months, who can tell what we'll come up with in the next 12!
Thanks for your loyal business, we look forward to serving you further through 2009 and beyond.

Deck the Halls with Color Copies!
Deck the Halls with Color Copies! Online Copy Center Docucopies.com Lowers Minimum Order to 50 Dollars
Special holiday promotion intended to help customers save money on color copies and digital printing over the holidays
HUDSON, WISC, December 06, 2008 /24-7PressRelease/ -- In an effort to ease the burden on families and small businesses over the holidays, the online color copying and printing company Docucopies.com has lowered their minimum color copy order from $70 down to $50.
This move comes in response to the various market and economic forces that are dragging the country deeper into recession. While the government considers bailing out yet another of the nation's biggest industries, Docucopies.com decided to help bail out the small businesses who really need help by cutting the cost of their print and copy advertising expenses.
"It's the season for giving, especially this year when it seems everyone will be spending a lot less than usual," says Jeff Corbo, marketing director for Docucopies.com. "Why shouldn't we help out our fellow small businesses? That's the real backbone of the economy right there."
If the special goes well and they get a huge response, says Corbo, Docucopies.com will consider extending the special promotion or even keeping it permanent, allowing customers to enjoy a smaller minimum order on their color copies all year long.
Docucopies.com is an online color copying and digital printing company based in Hudson, Wisc. They specialize in color copies, fliers, posters, booklets, books, post cards, calendars, and now, business cards. They pride themselves on having the cheapest prices on color copies and booklets on the Internet. For more information, to price your job or place an order online, log on to http://www.docucopies.com.
